Information Requested By July 13th Regarding Remote and Hybrid Work

Jul 07, 2022

SHARED ON BEHALF OF THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR

We are reaching out on behalf of New York State to get your help as we seek to understand NY Employers’ latest plans for remote and hybrid work.

As the COVID pandemic gradually fades, it is clear that many companies are actively deciding on their future plans with respect to remote/ hybrid work, which will have significant implications for NY’s economy. Over the past two years, the State has conducted two surveys on this topic, most recently in the spring of 2021. However, as the pandemic has continued to evolve, many businesses’ plans have evolved as well.

To understand NY companies’ latest plans for remote/ hybrid working, we are launching a new survey and hope you would be willing to have your company complete it. The survey will ask about your company’s current approach to remote/ hybrid work, your plans moving forward, and any associated operational changes such as hiring practices or changes in physical office space.

We will combine your answers with the large number of companies we are asking to participate in the survey and delete any company-specific answers to ensure the complete privacy and anonymity of your responses, as we understand that any plans you are putting together are and should remain confidential.

Can you please forward the survey link to whomever you feel is best able to speak to your near and longer-term remote working plans and ask them to fill it out over the next couple of days?

The survey should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete, and the link can be found here: https://on.ny.gov/survey

The deadline to respond is Wednesday, July 13 at 5 pm ET.

Thank you very much for your help!
