NYATEP’s Workforce Development Conference is the premier annual convening of workforce professionals across New York State. This three-day event features compelling keynote addresses and plenary sessions, engaging and informative workshops, and opportunities to connect with and learn from practitioners, policymakers, and other partners. Please join us in Albany this October as we come together to improve practices and advance policies that support New York’s workers, jobseekers, and employers.

The submission windown has closed. Below are topics that we are focusing on this year:

  • Registered apprenticeships
  • Collaboration between community partners (WDBs, IDAs/EDCs, businesses, educators, chambers)
  • WIOA (diversifying programming and dollars)
  • Serving special populations (people with disabilities, justice-involved, older workers, immigrants, non-English speakers, unhoused people)
  • Personal/professional development (public speaking, customer service training, leadership, coaching)
