NYATEP’s Statement on the Passage of the Fiscal Cliff Task Force Bill

New York Association of Training and Employment Professionals would like to extend a generous thank you and congratulations to Senator Roxanne Persaud for her leadership regarding the passage of S7830A on the Senate floor today. 

It is a true testament to the Senate under the leadership of Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Senate Minority Leader Robert Ortt  to see this bill pass with such strong bipartisan support. NYATEP is thrilled to be one step closer to the creation of the necessary fiscal cliff task force. 

NYATEP strongly urges Speaker Carl Heastie and Minority Leader Will Barclay to take up and pass this critical piece of legislation that we can send to Governor Hochul for signage this legislative session.
