NYATEP presents at the C2ER LMI Institute Conference in Norfolk, VA.

Last week, NYATEP was honored to participate in a panel discussion with our members and partners, Say Yes Buffalo and Invest Buffalo Niagara at the 64th annual The Council for Community and Economic Research's C2ER Conference hosted by the LMI Institute in Norfolk, VA. C2ER is the nationally recognized, trusted leader in the community, economic and workforce research field. C2ER is committed to developing and engaging a diverse membership to elevate data driven decision making to ensure prosperous communities.

In the workshop titled, "Connecting the Dots: How Western New York is Utilizing Data for a More Equitable Future," Stephanie Peete, Director of Workforce Development at Say Yes Buffalo, Rob Leteste, Business Intelligence & Workforce Manager at InBN and Megan Farry, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Communications at NYATEP, spoke about how recent federal investments such as the Build Back Better Regional Challenge and Tech Hub grants have put talent pipeline questions front and center for the Western New York region.  The session explored how data can be accessed and used to better understand how investments are leading to equitable opportunities to good jobs across New York from a state, regional and hyper local focus.
