Each year hundreds of workforce development leaders convene in Washington D.C. for 3 days of skill building workshops, networking, and visits with our congressional representatives on Capitol Hill. NYATEP was the proud delegate lead for New York, working together with our members and partners to elevate the needs of New Yorkers from across the state. 

This year's conference covered a wide range of topics but focused on the need for appropriate and flexible WIOA funding, new federal investments in workforce stemming from the U.S. Departments of Commerce, Transportation, and Energy in support of infrastructure expansion, and continued support of industry partnerships to ensure a robust labor force for our country. 

The NYATEP team will continue to share out additional learnings and resources in the weeks to come, in the interim, here are a few photos from the New York delegate standing proud in our nation's capital! Thank you to everyone who traveled near and far to be there!
