Letter: State bill would help 'working poor' transition off public assistance

Melinda Mack, NYATEP's Executive Director, was featured in an Albany Times Union op-ed in support of Senator Roxanne Persaud and Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal's Bill S6589/A7534, establishing a six-month, 100 percent income disregard for New Yorkers receiving cash assistance.
