Deadline for Statewide Workforce Equity Analysis Tool (SWEAT Scan) has been extended!

Feb 14, 2022

After receiving feedback from many of our workforce colleagues, we have extended the close date of the Statewide Workforce Equity Analysis Tool (SWEAT Scan) to Friday, March 4th at 3PM!

We are encouraged by the sector's engagement and participation with this first-ever, sector-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion survey. Since the launch, many have attended SWEAT Scan webinars, reached out via email, shared on social media, and completed the survey. The data and analysis that will result from all of our efforts will help to propel the workforce development system forward in New York State.

However, in order for us to have rich enough data to report on, we need at least 150 organizations to complete the scan by March 4th.

Within the next two weeks we encourage you to gather the data needed and utilize the Participant Guide  to help with your planning.

Who Should Complete the SWEAT Scan?

  • Community based organizations, employers, chambers of commerce, labor unions, higher education institutions, BOCES, government agencies, and other NYS service providers in the workforce sector who directly engage in job training, education, and employment services
  • One point person (such as a CEO or HR Director) should be appointed to gather information and input data into the survey

If you come across any challenges please feel free to email me at [email protected] or call me at 518-728-9057
