Resending the message to you. The Governor has directed non-essential state staff in the counties of Rockland, Westchester, NYC and Long Island to work from home for the next two weeks. Only essential DOL staff will be present in the impacted career centers. Initially, for DOL, essential staff will be the manager, supervisor(s), Business Services Representative(s), Rapid Response Coordinators and other staff deemed essential. You may or may not have all of these staff in your center. Many DOL managers cover multiple locations. DOL may change what staff are determined essential. DOL will not be closing any DOL leased/owned centers at this time. DOL leased/owned centers will be closed for customers, but open for DOL essential staff and partners. DOL Central Office staff are in the process of cancelling appointments tonight. We have over 4,500 customers scheduled in these impacted centers between March 16 through March 20, 2020. This is a fluid situation and we will keep you advised when additional information is received. Thank you.
