NYATEP Board of Directors Election Completed

The NYATEP membership has elected new officers and at-large members to serve two-year terms beginning on July 1, 2010. Laura Quigley, Director of the Sullivan County Workforce Development Board, has been elected President, Karen Springmeier, Executive Director of the Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board, has been elected Executive Vice President, and Kevin Smith, Executive Director of Literacy Volunteers of America - NYS, has been elected Secretary.

In addition, Alice Savino, Executive Director of the Herkimer-Madison-Oneida Workforce Investment Board, was re-elected as an at-large member of the Board, and will be joined by new at-large members, Donnovan Beckford, Director of the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Investment Board, and Ed Murphy, Executive Director of the Workforce Development Institute (WDI).
