Dr. Steve Parese

Dr. Steve Parese has been an educator since 1986, teaching and developing programs for populations with special needs in a variety of therapeutic, community, and correctional settings.

Steve received his Doctorate from George Washington University, and holds degrees from American and Cornell Universities as well. He has authored over a dozen articles and programs, and has spoken at more than 30 national and regional conferences for at-risk youth, ex-offenders, and welfare to work individuals.

Steve grew up in the Mohawk Valley of upstate New York. He has worked as a wilderness counselor, a classroom teacher, a crisis counselor, and a staff trainer. He has been a full-time consultant for nearly 10 years, and now lives in the small mountain town of Danbury, North Carolina.

 
Dr. Beverly Ford

Dr. Beverly Ford is President of ASM Associates, a training and consulting firm that specializes in staff training for human service professionals. She has conducted training in case management, welfare reform, and client empowerment for over 100,000 people in 42 states, working with staff in a variety of agencies including Departments of Social Services, Employment Services, WIA, Head Start, Community Action, Job Corps, Homeless Programs, and Public Health. Beverly is also the author of a staff training handbook titled Making Case Management Work.
